Claude Skills
Skills teach Claude how the Vetta API actually works: exact endpoints, required fields, data formats, and the gotchas that cause silent failures. Install them once and Claude stops guessing.
Install
Two commands. Every skill.
/plugin marketplace add Vetta-AI/vetta-docs-and-skills
/plugin install vetta@vetta-marketplaceRun these in Claude Code. The first command registers the Vetta plugin marketplace from GitHub; the second installs the Vetta plugin with all 14 skills. Updates arrive through the marketplace, so you never re-download files.

/plugin marketplace add Vetta-AI/vetta-docs-and-skills - Type
/plugin install vetta@vetta-marketplace - Restart Claude Code when prompted. That's it: the skills load automatically when they're relevant.
Manage it later with /plugin: browse the marketplace, update, or uninstall.
Manual install (single skill)
If you only want one skill, or you're using a tool without plugin support, copy the file into your project's .claude/skills/ directory:
mkdir -p .claude/skills/person
curl -o .claude/skills/person/SKILL.md \
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Vetta-AI/vetta-docs-and-skills/main/.claude/skills/person/SKILL.mdSee Download Skills for every file, or browse them on GitHub ↗.
What you get
The plugin bundles 14 skills. Claude loads the right one on its own based on what you ask, so you never have to name them.
CRM records
Data model
Automation & messaging
Onboarding
The plugin also ships a Sales OS generator agent used during customer onboarding.
Why skills help
The Vetta API has conventions that are easy to get wrong. Skills encode them, so Claude writes correct requests the first time instead of failing and retrying:
Every skill also carries a Gotchas section: the failure modes that cost the most time when integrating.
Skills or MCP?
Use both. Vetta MCP gives Claude the tools: live, workspace-scoped operations it can run directly. Skills give it the knowledge: how the API is shaped and where the traps are. Together, Claude can both act on your workspace and write correct code against the REST and GraphQL API.
