Bring everything you have. Nothing lands broken.
Spreadsheets, another CRM, forms or your own systems. Columns map to Vetta fields, duplicates merge, companies link, and validation runs before a single record is written.
- Deduplicated on the way in
- Relationships preserved
Six ways in
However your data lives today, there is a route in.
One-off uploads, full migrations and permanent pipes, all landing in the same clean CRM.
Spreadsheets
Drag in a CSV or Excel file, map the columns once, and import thousands of records with validation running first.
Another CRM
Bring contacts, companies, deals, notes and custom fields across with the relationships between them intact.
Zapier and n8n
Native nodes pipe records in from any tool in your stack, on a schedule or the moment something happens.
Webhooks
Point a form, a scanner or an internal system at Vetta and records appear as events fire, with no polling.
REST API
Full documented API to create, update and link records programmatically for custom pipelines and ongoing syncs.
Claude and MCP
Ask your AI assistant to import a file, link people to companies and flag duplicates, in plain language.
01Validation
Messy rows are caught before they become records
Bad email formats, missing names and broken values are flagged up front. Fix them inline, or import everything clean now and deal with the rest when you have a minute.
- Checks run before anything is written
- Flagged rows fixable in place
- Partial imports supported
02Duplicates
Matches merge into the record you already have
Every import runs a duplicate check first. Matching records are merged into the existing contact rather than creating a second one, so history and conversations stay in a single place.
- Duplicate check on every import
- Merged into the existing contact
- History and conversations kept together
03Migration
Your relationships survive the move
Coming from another CRM, contacts arrive attached to their companies, deals keep their stage, and notes and tasks stay on the records they belong to. Custom fields are recreated rather than flattened.
- Contacts, companies and deals linked
- Notes, tasks and history attached
- Custom fields recreated
04Always on
Import once, or keep the pipe open
Zapier, n8n, webhooks and the REST API keep records arriving from forms, scanners and internal systems long after the first migration, with the same deduplication and validation every time.
- Native Zapier and n8n nodes
- Webhooks and full REST API
- Same cleaning rules on every route
- 1 day
- is all most teams need to migrate fully
- 0

Questions
Data import, explained
What file types can I import?
CSV and Excel. Drag the file in, map your columns to Vetta fields, and create any missing fields on the spot without leaving the import screen.
What happens to duplicates?
Every import runs a duplicate check first. Matching records are merged into the existing contact rather than creating a second one, so history and conversations stay in a single place.
Can I migrate from my current CRM?
Yes. Contacts, companies, deals, notes, tasks and custom fields come across with their relationships preserved, so a person still points at their company and their open deal.
What if some rows are messy?
Validation runs before anything is written. Bad email formats and missing required fields are flagged and can be fixed inline, or you can import the clean rows and return to the rest later.
Can imports run continuously?
Yes. Zapier, n8n, webhooks and the REST API keep records flowing in from forms, event scanners, billing systems or your warehouse, with the same deduplication and validation applied.
How long does a migration take?
Most teams are fully migrated within a day. Larger or more customised setups are handled with our team as part of onboarding.
