Reviewing your agent's leads

Judge the leads a Lead Scout agent finds in Vetta: the leads table and Kanban, the dual score for ICP fit and signal (each out of 5), the last signal that surfaced each lead, and its stage.

Updated October 25, 2026 · 7 min read

Every lead an agent finds lands in two places: the agent's own Leads tab, and the Leads page in the Lead generation section of the sidebar, which gathers the leads of all your agents. Both show the same things for each lead: who they are, how well they fit, why they surfaced and where they are now.

The strip at the top of the agent sums up how its leads are doing: replies, meetings booked, positive reply rate, how many leads were promoted to your CRM, the runway left in the sequence and the health of its sending accounts.

Reading an agent's results. The strip at the top shows replies, meetings booked, positive reply rate, leads that reached your CRM, how long the sequence has left and sender health. Below, every lead has a dual score: F is ICP fit and S is signal strength, both one to five, with hover details for each check. The last signal explains why they were picked up, including their words and the post they reacted to, and the stage shows their place in the sequence.

Every agent has its own scoreboard. This is the agent UI, built for anyone starting, and the sequence canvas is there for full control. Open an agent, and the strip at the top shows its replies, the meetings it booked, and its positive reply rate: the share of replies that were interested or asked for more. Next to them: how many leads made it into your CRM, how long the sequence has left to run, and whether the sending accounts are healthy. Below that, every lead it found. The dual score has two parts. F is ICP fit: how well the person matches who you sell to. S is signal strength: how strong their buying intent is. Both go from one to five. Hover the score to see each check behind the fit, and why the signal scored what it did. The last signal tells you why they were picked up. Hover it to see what they did, their exact words, and the post they reacted to. And the stage shows where each lead is in the sequence. Every Monday, Priya asks Claude what her scout found. Claude finds 38 new leads, 14 of them strong. Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant you connect to Vetta works on your real workspace, so ask again next Monday, then give it a bigger job. In Vetta, open the Leads tab and hover a score to see why.

Table and Kanban

The Kanban view groups leads by stage, so you can see at a glance how many are new, in the sequence, contacted or filtered out. The table view lists them one per row with their contacts, Dual score, Last signal, Source and Stage.

The default stages:

  • New: just found
  • Sequencing: in the agent's sequence, waiting for its first message
  • ICP filtered out: below the agent's cutoff, so it will not be contacted
  • Contacted: a message has gone out
  • Replied Positive, Info Requested, Neutral Reply, Replied Negative and Out of office (retry manually): set from what the lead's reply says
  • Meeting Set and Lost

Stages shows the list and Edit stages changes it; the stages drive the Kanban columns and the stage chips.

Search, Sort, Filter and pick the columns you want, or Export the list as CSV or Excel, with your current filters and sort applied. In the agent's Leads tab, Add leads (Import CSV) puts your own leads through the same agent.

Dual score: ICP fit and signal

Each lead carries two scores, each out of 5, drawn as two small meters:

  • F is ICP fit: how well the person and the company match your ICP.
  • S is Signal: how strong the buying intent behind what they did is.

Hover the score to see why. The popover shows the label for each score (for example "Excellent fit" and "Indirect intent") and Why it fits, check by check: the role, the company, its size and industry, and the location, each with the reason it matched or not. The signal part explains what set that score, for example a short reaction comment that shows interest in the topic without a stated need.

As a rule of thumb, the signal score rises with how clearly the person spoke about their own need:

  • 5: they said they need, are looking for or are evaluating this, or their company has an open job post for a role you watch
  • 4: they described the problem, compared options or asked a direct question
  • 3: indirect interest, or a recent job change
  • 2: activity only, such as a company that is growing or a person who posts a lot

A lead with a high fit and a low signal is the right person who is not looking yet; a high signal with a low fit is interest from outside your market. The cutoff at the entry of the agent's sequence (for example "moves forward at ICP ≥ 3 or Signal ≥ 3") decides which leads go on to be contacted.

Scores are given once, by the agent, when the lead is found. They are not recalculated later, even if you change the ICP, and you can't edit them by hand. To change who qualifies, edit the agent's ICP or signals: new leads are scored on the new rules.

Last signal: why they surfaced

The Last signal column shows the latest thing the lead did that the agent caught, and when. Hover it to see what they did (a comment, a reaction), how it scored, their own words, and the LinkedIn post it was left on.

This is the same context the AI receives when it writes to the lead (the Signals input of every AI variable), so when a message reads oddly, the last signal is the first thing to check. Leads from buying events, such as a job change or a growing company, have no words of their own behind them, so their messages cannot quote anything.

Acting on leads

In the agent's Leads tab, tick one or more leads to bring up the selection bar:

  • Preview writes the lead's messages without sending anything: see Previewing and regenerating messages
  • Remove from agent takes the lead off the agent and out of its sequence. It does not delete the lead: the person stays in your CRM, and you can add them to another agent or sequence.
  • Export selected downloads just the ticked leads
ℹ️

An agent only brings in people who are new to your CRM. Anyone already in Vetta, from an import, the extension or another agent, is skipped, so two agents never show the same person. If an agent seems to miss people you know are in your market, check whether they are already in your CRM.

Common questions

Where do I see the leads from all my agents in one place?

On the Leads page in the Lead generation section of the sidebar. Each agent's own Leads tab shows only what that agent found. See Table and Kanban.

What do the F and S scores mean?

F is ICP fit and S is signal strength, each out of 5. Hover the score to see the label and the check-by-check reasons. See Dual score: ICP fit and signal.

I changed my ICP. Why didn't the scores change?

Scores are given once, when the lead is found, and are not recalculated later. See Dual score: ICP fit and signal.

Can I change a lead's ICP or signal score by hand?

No. The agent sets both scores and they can't be edited. To change who qualifies, edit the ICP or signals, and new leads are scored on the new rules. See Dual score: ICP fit and signal and Setting up a Lead Scout agent.

Why did the agent skip someone I know is in my market?

An agent only brings in people who are new to your CRM. Anyone already in Vetta, from an import, the extension or another agent, is skipped. See Acting on leads.

When does a lead move to People?

When you promote it from the Leads page, or automatically as soon as a meeting is set. See Understanding the Vetta data model.

Does removing a lead from an agent delete them?

No. Remove from agent takes the lead off the agent and out of its sequence, but the person stays in your CRM and can be added to another agent or sequence. See Acting on leads.

Why doesn't a lead's message mention anything they said?

Leads from buying events, such as a job change or a growing company, have no words of their own behind them. Check the Last signal column to see what the AI had to work with. See Last signal: why they surfaced.

Can I export the leads?

Yes. Export downloads the list as CSV or Excel with your current filters and sort, and Export selected downloads only the ticked leads. See Table and Kanban.

Key outcome

A quick pass over the dual scores and last signals tells you whether the agent's signals and ICP bring in the right people. If they do not, adjust them in the Signals tab (Setting up a Lead Scout agent) before the sequence writes to them.
